Sistemi innovativi per la produzione sostenibile di biometano da FORSU ed altre matrici organiche

The project, funded by MISE (Ministry of Economic Development), is a collaboration between Ladurner Ambiente S.p.a. and the Departments of Biotechnology and Business Administration of the University of Verona. It aims to optimise the production of biogas in the anaerobic digestion processes of Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste (OFMSW), integrating advanced technologies for the recovery of nutrients from the digestate, the valorisation of CO₂ through biomethanisation and the monitoring of odour emissions in order to improve the social acceptability of biogas plants.

The LabICAB team is responsible for the development of a process for the recovery of nutrients from the OFMSW digestate in a new biogas plant located in Cupello (CH).
