Digital Twin for cost-efficient treatments of wastewater in anaerobic reactors
DT4ART is an Eurostars project under the European Partnership for Innovative SMEs, co-funded by the EU through Horizon Europe and the Eureka Network. Four Spanish and Italian companies, together with the University of Verona, are developing a cloud-based digital twin to improve the efficiency of anaerobic reactors used for treating industrial wastewater in sectors such as brewing, pulp and paper production, and food processing. The tool will be tested in real environments to assess its replicability and refine the interface according to the operational needs of the plants.
LabICAB operates a laboratory anaerobic reactor to replicate industrial processes and support the development of dynamic DT4ART models.
